James Norman

One For Two / Trade142

James Norman teaches one coherent NQ execution framework built around auction dynamics, market structure, liquidity, and session context — and the discipline required to follow written rules under pressure. One For Two is where that framework is taught in full, expressed as named models, and built into the TradingView tools that plot it.

James Norman

What he actually does here

One framework, taught four ways.

Trade142 exists to teach a single NQ process and to make the same logic available on chart. The four products are different levels of access to that one thing, not four different offers.

He teaches one framework

Not a survey of trading styles and not a signals room. One process for reading NQ, taught the same way across the free content, the tools, the Core Program, and mentorship.

He names the models

Rejection blocks, premium and discount, gap inversion, the liquidity grab, the One-For-Two signature. Every part of the framework has a name and a written rule, which is what makes it possible to say whether it was followed.

He reviews execution against the rules

In mentorship, submitted trades are graded against what the framework says — whether the sequence was there, whether the timing was permitted, whether a rule was broken. The review is about the process, not a forecast of the next trade.

Deliberately blank

What is not on this page, and why.

Most pages like this one open with a number of years, an origin story, and a description of the instructor as a successful trader. This one does not, and that is a decision rather than an oversight.

A statement about how well someone trades is a performance claim. Published without evidence behind it, it is the single most effective thing a trading educator can say and the single hardest thing to substantiate. Regulators have taken apart businesses in this industry for exactly that — portraying instructors as successful traders and pointing customers at that success as proof the training works.

So the rule here is simple. Nothing goes on this page about James's background or his trading unless it can be documented, and the documentation is retained. Until then the sections below stay visibly empty rather than being filled with something that sounds right.

Trading history

Any statement about James's own trading, in any form. This one stays blank until there is a verifiable record behind it, and it may stay blank permanently.

What can be said now

James Norman is an NQ futures trader and educator, and the author of the One42 framework. He is not registered with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, is not a member of the National Futures Association, and does not manage money, hold client funds, or trade on behalf of any client. He teaches a process. He does not promise what it will do for you.

Trading futures involves substantial risk of loss. The full statement is in the Risk Disclosure, and our standing rule on student results is in the Testimonial Disclosure.

The work itself

Judge the framework rather than the biography.

The method page describes the whole process for free, and the free content shows it applied to real sessions. That is a better basis for a decision than anything an about page can tell you.
